BRAND DEVELOPMENT
Knot and Burl is an artisanal furniture company that expresses the beauty of wood grain and natural elements in a variety of one-off pieces. The logomark was inspired by wood grain patterns and abstract forms that are revealed from cuts of burl. Highlighting on this natural beauty, the brand uses minimal and contemporary design aesthetics that allows the furniture to be showcased as museum–quality art pieces.

CONCENTRIC
PATTERNS
Knot and Burl furniture catalog uses beautifully cropped imagery and crossovers for an exceptional coffee table print book. Gloss varnishes are applied on full color imagery to accentuate the wood grain and detail of each piece. The logomark is expanded on the back cover to encompass the companies information through the use of a textural element.
